At Christ Church, our Youth Group is for kids 7th thru 12th grade.

We want our focus on these three areas:

Faith - Christ is at the center of all that we do, and we want to learn from the Bible what it means to be His disciples, while not shying away from fears, doubts, and the difficulties of living in this world.  We do this thru video series and group discussion sessions centered around specific people or stories in the Bible, and opening discussion to relevant topics.  We hope to help thriving disciples to grow further in their love and service to God, and to help those that don’t know Jesus to consider Him as worthy of following.

Fellowship - We often eat together and think that developing and modeling healthy Christian community is indispensable to create fertile ground for seeing and savoring Jesus in the gifts and talents of others, learning about them, and investing in relationships.

Fun - We love to play games and laugh together and are always looking for new (and sometimes hilarious) ways to play with and enjoy each other.  The Christian walk is not a dull one, and we should be a joyful and fun-loving people.  Who couldn’t laugh at seeing a bunch of teens eat spaghetti without utensils?

This year we’re going through Reformed Youth Ministry's Bible 101 study! We meet from 6:00pm-8:00pm (dinner is provided) at Elevate Youth Center (505 W Lynn Blvd, Sterling, IL 61081).
